Dominick Paolillo

Obituary of Dominick G. Paolillo

Dominick G. Paolillo, beloved husband, father, father-in-law, Pop Pop, brother, and friend, passed away on September 15, 2024 at his home in Freehold, New Jersey, where he had resided since 2019. Born in Brooklyn, New York, on July 21, 1946, he was the son of the late Luigi and Helen Paolillo.

Dominick graduated from New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn, NY, and proudly served in the U.S. Army Reserve at Fort Dix, NJ. He had a passion for math and numbers, which led him to a successful 40-year career at the American Stock Exchange, a job he loved dearly.

Dom loved his family, nice restaurants, and weekend excursions. He was passionate about spending time in his yard, relaxing in his gazebo, and cherished the company of his best pup, Bailey. He also enjoyed great food, music, and was a longtime fan of Frank Sinatra. Known for his thick skin and blunt personality, Dom had a unique gift for making those around him laugh.

Dominick is survived by his high school sweetheart, Juliet Paolillo, to whom he was married for 56 years. He is also survived by his three "favorite" daughters and their spouses: Laura Beyer (Kevin Beyer), Dina Cross (Ryan Cross), and Nicole Halpern (Josh Halpern), as well as his seven grandchildren: Ethan, Riley, Emily, Zach, Isabella, Lily, and Mason.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:30 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, September 20, 2024 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Entombment will take place at Holmdel Cemetery and Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation, Grand Central Station P.O. Box 4777, New York, NY 10163 or HERE .
