Obituary of Anthony James Morolda
Anthony James Morolda, 33, of Millstone Township passed away on Friday, September 27, 2024. Born in Perth Amboy, Anthony grew up and spent his life in Millstone Township, where he built a strong connection with his community. He graduated from Rowan University in 2014 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Health and Exercise Science, which fueled his passion for a healthy, active lifestyle.
Anthony lived his life with intention and purpose. He found joy in the outdoors, where he thrived both physically and mentally, making choices that reflected his commitment to health and well-being. As a coach, teacher, leader, mentor, and co-podcast host, Anthony’s influence touched many lives. He had an incredible ability to connect with others, often calling himself a “self-proclaimed therapist,” as he was always there to lend a listening ear and offer support to anyone in need.
In his free time, Anthony expressed his creativity through art, reading, and writing. His role as the “cool uncle” to his nieces and nephews brought him immense joy, and his infectious sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Known for his radiant smile, Anthony had a unique ability to light up any room he entered. His presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Anthony is survived by his loving mother, Patricia Frances Morolda of Aberdeen; his father, Dennis George Morolda of Florida; his siblings, Dennis Michael Morolda and his partner, Julie Verona of Bordentown, Tara Lynn Millett and her husband, James, of Aberdeen, and Meghan Frances Nelson and her husband, Michael, of Howell. He also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Camryn, Marina, Denny, Jules, Genevieve, Sophia, James, and Maggie; his beloved dog, Marty; and a devoted circle of friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations of plants or other living gifts in honor of Anthony’s love for the outdoors and his dedication to living an active, sun-filled life. Contributions can also be made to Finish the Race (https://ftrapparel.com/) and Bigger Than the Trail (https://www.bttt.run/), organizations close to Anthony’s heart.
