Leo W. Reich Obituary

Leo W. Reich, 90, of Jackson passed away on Thursday, October 10, 2024, at Monmouth Medical Center, Lakewood.  He was born and raised and lived in Brooklyn, NY, until moving to Jackson in 2002.  Leo worked for the EDO Corporation for 37 years as a metrologist, an inspector whose work involved the “fine points of weights and measures.”  A natural handyman, he could fix anything, and took pride in keeping his home and car in perfect condition. In Brooklyn, he devoted much of his time to his church, St. Finbar, serving on the Parish Council and as a lector. He also loved swimming, hunting, playing billiards, and most of all, his family. Leo met his wife, Mary, at a church function in Brooklyn, and they enjoyed a happy life together, raising a family and caring for each other for the past 65 years.

He was predeceased by his parents, Margaret and Leo Reich, and his sisters, Barbara Reich and Marjorie Farrell. Leo is survived by his loving wife, Mary; daughter, Margaret Reich (Chip Montrose) of Cincinnati; son, Leo Reich of Allentown; and grandchildren, Nicholas, Victoria, and Olivia Reich.
