Obituary of Margaret A. Nally

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Margaret (Peg) Nally on November 21, 2024 at the age of 76.  

Peg was born on May 22, 1948 in Brooklyn, N.Y., to George and Margaret (nee Barrett) McNeely. 

Peg was generous and enjoyed spending time with family, friends and her beloved dogs. She loved to bake, craft, sew and teach her grandchildren to swim. Some of her favorite times were spent traveling and socializing with her husband and extended family.

Peg will be forever remembered by her husband of 57 years, Michael J. Nally; son, Michael and his wife, Jaimie; daughter, Tricia and her husband, Adam; grandchildren, Michael and Catherine. Waiting for her at the door to Heaven was her son, Brian. 

She will be deeply missed. While our hearts mourn the loss, we take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering. 

The funeral will be a private ceremony, remembering Peg in the presence of close family and friends. For those who desire, memorial contributions can be made in Peg’s name to Breakthrough T1D (formerly Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation) in support of juvenile diabetes.
