Obituary of Thomas J. Magliozzo
Thomas Magliozzo, 53, of Millstone passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at his home. T.J. was born and raised in Freehold Township, before starting a family and settling down in Millstone in 2004. T.J. was a graduate of Freehold Township High School where he excelled in academics, played baseball, football, basketball and ran cross-country track. He continued his education at Monmouth University where he was a pitcher for the Hawks and an Academic All American. T.J. had a passion for horses, the Food Network and a good documentary. He loved spending time with his family at Disney World and on family ski trips. T.J. was an avid baseball card collector and never missed a sporting event for his children. He had a sharp wit and biting sarcasm, with a unique ability to leave everyone laughing. T.J. never missed an opportunity to bring joy to everyone, a true family man. His heart and kindness constantly radiated to all those he touched. He had a personality truly loved by everyone. T.J. was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing food for his family and friends. He was an amazing husband, father, son, brother, and friend. T.J.’s love for his family was immeasurable, and he will forever be missed.
He was predeceased by his mother-in-law, Sue Ann Marriner. T.J. is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Melissa Magliozzo, his three children, T.J., Nicholas, and Isabella; his parents, James and Dorothy Magliozzo of Freehold Township; his brothers, James Magliozzo of Utah, Michael Magliozzo and his wife, Christine Magliozzo of Freehold Township, and Matthew Magliozzo and his wife, Aimee Magliozzo of Matawan; father-in-law, Byron Marriner and his wife, Donna Marriner, of Englewood, Florida; sister-in-law, Denise Eckert, and her husband, Keith Eckert of Manasquan; and nieces and nephews, Matthew, Juliana, Alexandra, Nicolette, Michael, Francesca, James, Ryan, Sarah, and Jackson.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, November 29, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery, Freehold. For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to the family for T.J.'s children's future. In memory of T.J., bet on a horse, but make sure that the number of the horse is divisible by three.
