Obituary of Patricia A. Annicchiarico
Mrs. Patricia Ann “Tesh” Annicchiarico (née Connallon), daughter of the late John F. Connallon and Geraldine Connallon was born January 21, 1950 in Jersey City, NJ. She was a graduate of St. Aloysius High School and Jersey City State Teacher’s College.
She married the love of her life, Joseph N. Annicchiarico on September 5, 1971. Their union was blessed with three children, nine grandchildren, five step-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren. In 1974, they moved to Freehold, NJ where she was a devoted teacher at St. Rose of Lima School in Freehold, NJ from the early 1980s until her retirement in 2009. Tesh and Joe moved to Toms River in 2006 where they cared for her parents, demonstrating her loving nature.
Mrs. Annicchiarico departed this life on Thursday, November 28, 2024, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, after a long courageous battle.
Tesh enjoyed many nights playing Bingo. She and her husband took many trips to Atlantic City, where she loved playing Joker Poker. Many times she would be seen at a kitchen table playing different casino games for fun on several different devices at one time. She also appreciated the boardwalk and floating on the ocean waters.
Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children: Jennifer M. Policastro of Freehold; Joseph A. Annicchiarico of Zionsville, IN; and Lisa J. LaForge of Howell, NJ; her daughter-in-law Jennifer Annicchiarico of Zionsville and son-in-law John LaForge of Howell, NJ; her grandchildren Nicole, David, Christopher, Alex, Nicholas, Olivia, Catherine, Katherine, and Elizabeth; her five step-grandchildren: Joseph of Howell, NJ; Alex, Andrew, Ben, and Emilie of Enumclaw, WA; her four step-great-grandchildren in Enumclaw, WA; her sisters Frances (Gerry) Severini of Toms River, NJ and Kathleen Quirk of Jersey City; her brother John (Jim) Connallon and her sister-in-law Kathleen Connallon of Rutherford, NJ; her sisters-in-law June Sita, Delores Hadden, and Elaine Barry of Toms River and Marie Ford (predeceased), as well as a host of devoted aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and students. Her beautiful legacy will carry on through all that knew her and cherished her.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 at 9:00 AM for the procession for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold.
