Obituary of Blanche Bowzeres
Blanche Bowzeres, 87, of Sun City, Florida, formerly of Manalapan, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 27, 2024. Blanche was born and raised in the Bay Ridge section of Brooklyn. She raised her family in the Willowbrook section of Staten Island, before becoming a snowbird, living in Manalapan and Sun City.
In her early years, Blanche worked as a foundling nurse, which is no surprise as she always loved babies and children. Blanche’s greatest calling was being a Mom and Grandmother (Nanny). She was the embodiment of warmth, with an unwavering commitment and love for family. She illuminated every room she entered and touched so many lives with her grace, beauty, and kindness. Her love for life was evident in her vibrant personality and passion for enjoying every moment.
Blanche is survived by her children, Venus Lambert and her husband, Charles of Freehold, NJ, Louis Bowzeres and his wife, Fatima of Staten Island, NY, and Peter Bowzeres and his wife, Soldad of Sun City, FL; four grandchildren, Brittany Otto and her husband, Jon, Courtney Lambert and her fiancé, Dan Schwartz, Danielle Spallina and her husband, Phil, and Nicholas Bowzeres; four great-grandchildren, Theodore, Averie, Phil, and John; two brothers, Jack Deane and his wife, Evelyn and Robert Deane and his wife, Lois; and many other family members and dear friends.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Thursday, December 12, 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM with a special memorial service at 11:30 AM.
