Obituary of Pasqualina Rose Pino
Pasqualina Rose Pino, 77, of Toms River passed away at AristaCare at Manchester on Monday, December 2, 2024. She was born and raised on Garside Street in Newark and had lived in Belleville, Howell, Florida and Freehold before settling in Toms River 12 years ago. Pasqualina worked for the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Defense in the section that made parts for Black Hawk Helicopters, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. After retirement, she continued working at CentraState Medical Center for 15 years as the Lead Supervisor for the Admitting Department. Pasqualina met her husband, Sante, in a chance encounter on 6th Avenue and Garside Street, where he was selling hot dogs off his scooter in the 70s. Their love story was one for the ages. In her free time, she enjoyed visiting Monmouth Park Racetrack and Atlantic City, playing the quarter slots and lucky 7's as well as listening to The Four Seasons band. She will be remembered for her love of playing Bingo and her passion for decorating for the holidays. Pasqualina had a generous spirit and was always willing to help those in need, whether it was through donations or feeding the neighborhood squirrels.
She is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Katie Natiello; sister, Marietta Pescatore; brother, Charles Natiello and brothers-in-law, Norton Raimo and Nino Pescatore. Pasqualina is survived by her loving husband, Sante D. Pino of Toms River; daughter, Tia Pino of Toms River; sisters, Kathy Natal and her husband, Hector and JoAnne Raimo; sisters-in-law, Lucielle Natiello; dogs, Daisy Mae, and LuLu Belle; and many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton Adelphia Road (Route 524) Freehold Township, on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 11:00 AM Funeral Mass on Friday, December 6, 2024 at St. Lucy’s Church, 118 7th Avenue, Newark, NJ 07104. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery and Mausoleum, 340 Ridge Road, North Arlington, NJ 07031.
