Obituary of Anatoliy Alekseyev

Anatoliy Alekseyev, 82, of North Arlington passed away on Thursday, January 9, 2025 at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack.  He was born in Kurtamysh, Russia and lived in the Ukraine before settling here in 1999.   Anatoliy worked as a physicist in Ukraine.  He enjoyed snow skiing, fresh and saltwater fishing and making his own wine and liquor.  A friend to all, Anatoliy loved the bonds he formed with family and friends and lived life to  the fullest. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Ivan and Nina Alekseyevv; and his sister, Elsa.  Anatoliy is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Tetyna Alekseyeva; son, Dmitri Alexeev and his wife, Lisa of East Brunswick; daughter, Lillya Gawrych and her husband, Karol of Evergreen, CO; grandsons, Daniel Alexeev and Maxim Alexeev; and great grandchild, Rio. 

Pannyhida will be held at St. Alexander Nevsky R.O. Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at 5:00 PM.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 10:00 AM funeral service at the Cathedral on Thursday, January 16, 2025.  Interment will follow in St. Vladimir R.O.
