Patricia Virtue, 60, of Freehold Township passed away at home on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.  Born in Neptune, Patricia was a lifelong resident of Farmingdale.  She worked as a CPA for the accounting firm Gershon Biegeleisen & Co., Lakewood. Patricia loved the outdoors and her hobbies included walks at Allaire Park, yoga and paddle boarding.  She was a lover of live music, traveling to new places and thrifting at Goodwill.  Patricia was an adoring mother, devoted grandmother and endearing daughter, sister and aunt.  She was blessed with the most amazing group of friends who cared for and supported her, and enjoyed listening to music with her.

Patricia was predeceased by her grandmother, Cecilia Costello; and her father, Theodore Yorkiewicz.  She is survived by her children, Sydney Virtue, Theodore Virtue and his wife, Brittany, and Megan Chemris and her husband, Michael; grandchild, Thomas Chemris; mother, Mary Yorkiewicz; sister, Yvonne Lowe and her husband, Christopher; and nieces and nephews, Ryan Lowe and his wife, Ashley, Kiersten Rihacek and her husband, Adam, and Haley Lowe and her fiancé, Zachary Gazire.  

Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, January 20, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM with a funeral service at 12:30 PM.  Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, 299 Freehold-Englishtown Road, Freehold Township.  For those who desire, memorial contributions may be made to Mary’s Place By the Sea, 22 Main Avenue, Ocean Grove, NJ 07756.  For information, directions or to leave condolence messages to the family, visit www.claytonfuneralhome.com
