Obituary of Robert McCutcheon

Robert H. McCutcheon, Sr., 85, of Brick passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at home. He was born in Philadelphia and lived in Fair Haven, NJ before settling in Brick. Robert worked in Research and Development at Ft. Monmouth, NJ for 40 years before retiring in 1978. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. Robert is survived by his wife, Doris McCutcheon; two sons, Robert McCutcheon of Tyler, TX and Scott McCutcheon of Brick, NJ; two daughters, K.D. Shaughnessy of Glendale, CA and Beth Karcz of Reston, VA; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, (Route524) Freehold Township on Friday, December 9, 2011 at 12:00 Noon. Interment at Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery in Arneytown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ASPCA, Post Office Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.
