Nicole: I am shocked to hear about your mother. I know there is nothing right now anyone can say to make you feel better. Please know that Melanie and I are very sorry. She was a special lady and I have many fond memories of her and your grandmother. We spent many a summers day in your grandmothers bedroom watching tv and just hanging out. Their house was the first house on the block to have an air conditioner. Your grandfather had a heart problem and the air conditioner was a necessity. Little did your grandmother know that the neighborhood kids were taking advantage of that cool air! We always made sure to leave before she got home from work. I can still see your mother kissing and hugging any new baby in the neighborhood. How she loved the chubby ones! Diane taught me how to use a curling iron. We had to heat it on the stove. She loved fashion, hair and make up. She was a couple of years older than me and I always loved her style. She always looked great. My father used to tease her all the time and she loved it. Maybe now he is teasing her in heaven. Please take care of yourself and know how sorry I am.
