Obituary of Frank Conforti
Frank A. Conforti, 80, of Jackson passed away on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at home surrounded by his family. Frank was born in Brooklyn, NY, had lived in Queens, NY, and raised his family in the Grasmere section of Staten Island before settling to Jackson in 2003. He was a graduate of New Utrecht High School and Brooklyn College. Frank was a Marine Corps veteran serving in the Korean War. He was a former parishioner and Eucharistic Minister at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Staten Island. Frank was a parishioner of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Jackson and a regular attendee of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, Freehold Township. He was very active in the Winding Ways community as a member of their bowling, bocce, and horseshoe clubs. Frank was the #1 fan to his grandson's sports teams. He had a passion for travel and was delighted by family outings. The joy of Frank's life was found in his family and he will always be remembered.
Frank was predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Al Venturine. He is survived by his adoring wife of 56 years, Rose Anzalone Conforti; a son, Dr. William Conforti and his precious wife, Nancy of Freehold Township; a daughter, Donna DiPietro and her compassionate husband, Anthony of Monroe Township; the loves of his life, his five grandsons, Peter & Frank Conforti and triplets Christopher, Nicholas, & Thomas DiPietro; a sister and brother-in-law, Lena and Dominick Circosta of Egg Harbor Township; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, December 9, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 10:00 AM followed by his 11:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township, NJ. Entombment to follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery & Chapel Mausoleum, 549 Route 520, Marlboro, NJ.
