Obituary of Ronald Amorelli

Ronald R. "Ron" Amorelli, 75 of Bolivia, NC formerly of Freehold, NJ died on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 in the SECU Lower Cape Fear Hospice Care Center, Bolivia NC. Born in Rahway, he was a son of the late William and Julia Brown Amorelli. Mr. Amorelli retired as a Certified Refrigeration Engineer from Merck Pharmaceuticals after 30 years of service. Ron loved his family and especially enjoyed being with them while at the beach, out to eat and spending time with his grandchildren. He also enjoyed golfing and fishing. Mr. Amorelli was predeceased by his brother, William Amorelli. Surviving is his loving wife of 40 years, Mary M. Amorelli; a son, Ben Amorelli and his wife, Jacqueline of Farmingdale, NJ; a daughter, Julia Amorelli-Ashby and her husband, Keni of Teaneck, NJ; a sister, Judy Thomas and her husband, Frank of Ocean Isle Beach, NC; a sister-in-law, Theresa Amorelli of Barnegat, NJ; six grandchildren, Faith, Hannah and Darius Ashby, Eden, Maya and Celia Amorelli; three nieces; two nephews; four great nieces; and three great nephews. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 for the procession to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold for his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment to follow in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia, NJ.
