Obituary of Rocco Mannino
Rocco J. Mannino, 88, of Freehold passed away on Friday, December 9, 2011 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Rocco was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY and had lived in Staten Island, NY before moving to Freehold in 1992. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during World War II serving in the European Theater. Rocco retired as a driver for East Coast Cartage Company, Brooklyn, NY. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather, who will be missed by all.
Rocco was predeceased by his wife, Angelina; two brothers, Salvatore Mannino and Peter Mannino; and two sisters, Jeanne Dibblee and Marie Morris. He is survived by three daughters, Carol Ann DePasquale and her husband, Nick of Staten Island, NY, Roxanne Marone and her husband, John of Freehold, and Diane Frost and her husband, Mark of Freehold; ten grandchildren, Gina DePasquale and her fiancé, Eric Eaves, Jenna DePasquale, Jillian Ann Marone, John Marone and his wife, Cathy; Ashley Ann Marone, Anthony Rocco Marone, Jeffrey Frost, James Frost, Delaney Frost, and Kristen Frost; two great grandchildren, John and Angelina Marone; many nieces and nephews; and a dear friend Etta.
Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Saturday, December 10, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Rite of Committal at the funeral home on Monday, December 12, 2011 at 10:30 AM followed by his 11:30 AM Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold, NJ.
