Obituary of Joseph Nero

Joseph William "Joe" Nero, 23, of Brick passed away on June 23, 2013 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Joe was a lifelong resident of Freehold Township, just recently having moved to Brick. He was a 2008 graduate of Colts Neck High School and attended Centenary College, Hackettstown. Joe was currently employed by Quality First Companies, Perth Amboy heading up the Concrete Lifting Division as a PolyLEVEL Specialist and had previously worked for Freehold Township Recreation Department. He was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church and a former member of Freehold Township Independent Fire Company #1. Joe is survived by his mother, Patricia Nero of Brick; his father, William F. Nero of Asbury Park; two brothers, Jeff Nero of Freehold Township and Jonathan Nero of Brick; his uncles, Thomas Roman and his wife, Deborah of Pt. Pleasant and Larry Roman of Union Beach; his aunt, Marie Roman of Montville; and many cousins and dear friends. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, June 26, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.
