Obituary of George Morey

George W. Morey, Jr., 88, of Lakewood died on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. He was born in Bayonne and had lived in Matawan before moving to Lakewood. George was a U.S. Army Veteran and a life member of the American Legion. Until his retirement, he worked as a lab tech for Exxon Mobil, Linden. George is survived by his wife, Kathryn Ginko-Morey; one son, Jeffrey Morey of N. Charleston, SC; three daughters, Susan Morey Breitenbucher of Severn, MD, Judith Morey of Washington, NC and Robin Morey Williams of Clarksville, TN; two step children, Jacque B. Kaplan and Joseph B. Shaffer; three sisters, Anna Morey Walling and Patricia Morey, both of Easley, SC and Loretta Krampert of Port Charlotte, FL; one brother, Edward Morey of Magnolia, DE; four grandsons, Christopher Parks, Steven Morey, Robert Morey and Steven Williams, Jr.; and three great grandchildren, Justin Morey, Lily Morey and Alaina Morey. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, July 18, 2013 at Adelphia Cemetery, Wyckoff Road, Howell Township, NJ.
