Obituary of Sally Pace

SALLY PACE, 80, of FREEHOLD, passed away Saturday, Feb. 2, at the Geraldine L. Thompson Care Center, Wall. Mrs. Pace was born in Zejtun, Malta, settling in Astoria, Queens, N.Y. in 1950. She lived in College Point, Queens before moving to Freehold in 1994. Mrs. Pace was a dietitian for the city of New York, P.S. No. 27, College Point retiring in 1994. She was a communicant at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Farmingdale. Surviving are her husband, Francis "Frank" Pace of Freehold; three daughters and sons-in-law, Frances and Albert Rozansky of Freehold; Joyce and Joseph Whalen of Merrick, N.Y.; and Joan and James Baker of Greensboro, N.C.; six grandchildren, Lauren Kuminka and her husband, Eric, Jeffrey Rozansky, Kenneth Rozansky, Julianne Whalen, Steven Whalen, Thomas Whalen; one sister, Julia Tabone of Malta. As well as two great granddaughters; Isabella and Carly. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Family and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Thursday for the Rite of Committal followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 31 Asbury Road, Farmingdale. Interment will follow in St. Ann's Cemetery, Wall.
