Obituary of Edna Relling

Edna Relling, 86, Toms River passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at CareOne in Wall. Edna was born and raised in Jersey City and had lived in Old Bridge before moving to Toms River. She was a secretary for the Old Bridge School System for twenty-five years retiring in 1991. Edna was predeceased by her husband, Charles "Chick" Relling, 2002 and a brother, Daniel McHugh who died serving his country during World War II in the South Pacific in 1944. She is survived by three daughters, Debbie Onorato of Toms River, Nancy Wagner and her husband, Bill of Howell, and Christol McDonough and her husband, Bob of Howell; five grandchildren, Danielle Jackson, Christol Wagner, Kevin Wagner, Christa Porta, and Brian McDonough; and two great-grandchildren, Charlie and Olivia Jackson. Visiting at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Friday, December 23, 2011 from 3:00 to 6:30 PM with her funeral service to follow at 6:30 PM. Interment will be from the funeral home on Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 8:00 AM and burial will be in Holy Name Cemetery, Jersey City, NJ.
