Obituary of John Muschichin
John Muschichin, 63, of West Orange died peacefully on Saturday October 5, 2013 at the Canterbury Care Center, Cedar Grove, N.J. after a six month battle with cancer, with his loving wife at his bedside. He was a service coordinator for Hoffman Chevrolet, Bloomfield, which later became DCH BMW, for 24 years before retiring in August of 2012.
John and was predeceased by his parents, Wasyl and Alexandria Muschichin, and a sister, Maria. He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Schweitzer) Muschichin, and step-children Robert and Karen. John was the loving brother of Willie, Helen, Sharon, and Luba. He also leaves behind his adored and devoted dogs Oreo, Princess, Gizmo, and Jingles.
John was a member of the West Orange Animal League and adopted several dogs. He loved going to the racetrack. John had a heart of gold and will be missed by all who came in contact with him, most of all his loving wife.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM, with his funeral liturgy to be held at 7:30 PM. Cremation will be private.
