Obituary of Harvey Boyce

Harvey W. Boyce, 68, of Howell Township died on Saturday, October 12, 2013 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. He was born in Old Bridge and moved to Howell Township in 1973. Mr. Boyce was an auto mechanic at Laffin Chevrolet in South River where he had been employed for 42 years before his retirement in 2008. He was inducted into the U.S. Army in August of 1965, and served his country in Vietnam from January 1966 until February of 1967, before being honorably discharged in August of 1967. Mr. Boyce is survived by his wife of 45 years, Linda Boyce; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Allen J. Boyce of Howell Township, and Jeffrey A. Boyce and his wife, Danielle of Toms River; and his adoring grandson, Brody Michael-Harvey Boyce. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 PM with his funeral service to follow at 8:30 PM.
