I know Pop always considered me one of his "girls" which made me feel very special. He had my grandmother, Gloria, his daughters Barbara and Kathy, and then there was me. I remember being very young and he would always bring flowers for his wife and daughters for special occasions, and never would forget a little flower for me too. He always included me and I know I was special to him. I also remember he always wore cologne and smelled so good. My grandmother would be so proud of that! Your Pop loves his cologne, she would say. Doesn't he smell good?
I miss my Pop and I thank him for always being there for me and always making me feel like a "big girl", which is always so important to a little girl. Thank you, Pop. Rest in Peace.
