Condolences
So sorry to hear of the loss of your Mom Alice, I have very fond memories of this special lady when she would come home to stay with her Grandmother in Bohermore in Galway, Ireland. She was always very kind to me and if anyone could make you feel special, Alice could. I know this will be a very difficult time for you Bobby as you were so close to your Mom, and I pray the memories of her will get you through. Thinking of you and your family at this time, All our Love, Agnes and family
Bob I'm sorry to hear about your loss. Although I didn't know Mom, I'm confident she was a wonderful woman dear to you and the family. My condolences. We will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers. Brian
Dear Allison & McManus families, We are deeply saddened to hear of Alice’s death. - Not only was Alice ‘family’ to us, she was a warm and loving friend, a living bridge between the Lydon family in Galway, and the extended Lydon-McManus family in America. From her first visit to Galway in 1955, my mother Kathleen took this niece to her heart. Although they were Aunt and Niece, with just 9 years between them, they were the best of friends and confidantes, corresponding faithfully over forty decades and making the occasional transatlantic trip to visit one another. Not only was Alice a great communicator, but she was a keeper of family history and understood the importance of knowing and placing where you came from. Alice was also possessed of a great sense of humor which I think I can safely say was inherited from her mother Delia . I know each of you will have many happy memories to draw on, which you should remember both long and often. I hope those memories will make you laugh through the tears in the dark days ahead when you are alone with your thoughts and missing her badly. Alice was a fantastic Mom, Sister, Grandmother, Aunt, Mother-in-Law, Cousin and Friend. She will be sorely missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh a anam uasal. (May her noble soul be at the right side of God) Sandra, Esther, Marie, Sean, Michael & Anne.
Please accept my condolences on the loss of your dear loved one. Take comfort in knowing that our heavenly Creator will soon remove all pain, sorrow, and death forever! May this promise as recorded in Revelation 21:3,4 be of comfort as you gain the inner peace and strength to cope with the days ahead. Philippians 4:13.

Aunt Alice will always be with us in spirit and fond memory; she gave me a great place to grow up in, and a great son as a best friend.

We are very sorry to learn of Nan's passing. Kate spoke so highly of Nan and the special relationship Bob had with her. I am sure she was very proud of Bob and his accomplishments and she will be dearly missed.
