Obituary of Doris Robbiani

DORIS E. ROBBIANI, 82, of FARMINGDALE, died Friday, Feb. 29 at her residence. Mrs. Robbiani was born in Jersey City. She was a Co-Founder of the Juvenile-Diabetes Foundation, Mid-Jersey Chapter. Doris was a member, deacon and Sunday school teacher at the Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was a former PTA president of Farmingdale school as well as a former volunteer crossing guard and den mother. Mrs. Robbiani was also on the Memorial Day Parade Committee and painted the sign each year. Mrs. Robbiani was a secretary at Calumeck & Hecklar in New York. Surviving are her husband of 58 years, Raymond Robbiani of Farmingdale; her son Neal Robbiani of Howell and her daughter Gail Thompson of Showlow, Az.; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Route 524, Freehold Twp. Friends and relatives are invited to attend her funeral service at the Pierce Memorial Presbyterian Church, 40 Main Street, Farmingdale, at 1 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be private.
