I am so sorry to hear your loss. While I did not know Papa Joe well, I was always impressed with his grace, his smile and his friendly demeanor on those occasions when I found myself in his company. You are all very much in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Joanne and Nicole, my sincere sympathy in the death of your father and grandfather. I have good memories of Mr. Mahtook's visits to the 8th graders at Eisenhower School around Veterans' Day for several years. How fortunate his family was to have such a wonderful person in their lives for so many years. May you have many fond memories to comfort you.
