Obituary of Frances Scarcella

Frances M. Scarcella, 103, of Jackson passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Care One at Jackson. Frances was born and raised in Brooklyn. She and her husband, Salvatore then moved with her two daughters to Elmont, NY where they lived for more than 27 years. Frances and Salvatore eventually moved to Patchogue, NY where they resided for over 30 years before settling in Jackson. She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Scarcella in 2005. Frances is survived by two daughters, JoAnn Frascogna and her husband, Joseph of Medford, NY and Francine Morpurgo and her husband, Larry of Freehold; five grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.
