Obituary of Diane C. Moran
DIANE C. MORAN, 56, of FREEHOLD TOWNSHIP, died Saturday, April 5, at Kimball Medical Center, Lakewood. Mrs. Moran was born and raised in Jersey City and moved to Hillside in 1973 and then to Howell in 1985. She settled in the Silvermead Community, Freehold Township in 2006. Mrs. Moran was a bookkeeper for U.S. Homes, Freehold for 9 years retiring in 2003. Prior to that, she worked in the payroll department at Foodarama, Freehold from 1988 to 1994. She was a 1969 graduate of Dickinson High School, Jersey City and also received her associate's degree in arts and applied sciences from Brookdale Community College, Lincroft in 1999.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harold & Catherine Feilner. Surviving are her husband of 37 years, James P. Moran of Freehold Township; her son, James P. Moran of Howell Township; her daughter, Catherine Moran of Howell Township; her adoring granddaughter, Alexis Novotny; one brother, John Feilner and his wife, Denise of Cranford; and many cousins, nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road, Route 524, Freehold. Relatives and friends may gather at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal followed by her 9:30 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 935 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson.
