Obituary of Kathryn Ann Trahim
KATHRYN ANN TRAHIM, 88, of MILLSTONE TOWNSHIP, died Wednesday, April 16, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mrs. Trahim was born in Hazlet and raised in Keyport. She had lived in Matawan, the Morganville section of Marlboro and Jackson before moving to the Millstone Township. She loved her trips to Atlantic City and especially those to the Taj Mahal. Mrs. Trahim loved cooking, gardening and caring for her husband and family. She also enjoyed collecting antique bottles and traveling. Mrs. Trahim was a homemaker.
She was predeceased by her husband, John, in 2002; a grandson, Dan Dietrich, in 2006; and two sisters, Grace and Ellen. Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law, Jean and Mike Palocin of Jackson, Catherine and Kenneth Dietrich of Hazlet, Elizabeth and Steven Seminara of Wacabuc, N.Y., and Sue and Peter Kudrick of Millstone Township; eight grandchildren, Kourtney, Desiree, Michael, Michele, Kenny, John, Stephanie, and Sandra; and nine great-grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends may gather at 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home for the Rite of Committal, followed by her 10 a.m. Funeral Mass at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, McLean Street, Freehold.
