Condolences
When I needed a place to stay Phyllis opened her home to me. She had the biggest heart & most beautiful smile. She loved her children more than anything in this whole world. She was so pretty and a very classy lady. She loved to laugh, her sons were always doing crazy things, they kept her entertained for years. When I knew her, you could feel how much her and her sons missed their father, and what an impact his loss had on all of them. But she always tried to stay positive, look for the bright side of life, and she continued to take care of her loving family.
I didn't get to hang out with Mom too long, but I have to say going to see the Rockettes and eat portugese food with her and my mom was awesome and so much fun! Also. I watched her both laugh and cry when we went to see Abilio in the ultrasound. It was raining and she put the ultrasound pictures in her coat so they wouldn't get wet. We went to eat and when we got out of the car it was really windy and rainy. We were about to order our food and this guy came in with a stack of pictures he found in the parking lot. They were the ultrasounds that mom apparently put in the door pocket when we were in the car and they blew out. She ran like a crazy person out the door and into the parking lot trying to collect all the pictures. She stopped a car on herbertsville rd to get one out of the street. She loved that little boy and he wasn't even born yet! She would be in her glory with all these grandbabies!
