Obituary of Edison Alleyne

Edison D. Alleyne, 55, of Jackson passed away at home on Saturday, February 22, 2014. Edison was born in Trinidad and lived in Montclair before moving to Jackson 8 years ago. He was a Corrections Officer for the Essex County Department of Corrections for 20 years. Edison was a US Navy veteran. He was predeceased by his father, Hudson Alleyne. Edison is survived by his wife, Marvolyn Alleyne; four daughters, Nicole Navarro, Marquita Greene, Tiffany Stewart and Nyasha Alleyne; his mother, Beryl Alleyne; two sisters, Joy Charles and Annelyes Charles; and five brothers, Ryan Alleyne, Wayne Alleyne, Eric Alleyne, Derrick Alleyne and Patterson Alleyne. Visitation will be held at the Christ Church, 71 Oak Glen Road, Howell on Saturday, March 1, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with his funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM.
