Obituary of Catherine Pancetti

Catherine "Kitty" Pancetti, 83, of Manalapan, New Jersey and Jupiter, Florida, formerly of Colts Neck, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, February 24, 2014 at St. Mary's Medical Center, West Palm Beach, Florida. Catherine was born and raised in Brooklyn and moved to Staten Island in 1959 where she raised her family. In 1977, she moved to Old Bridge and then settled in Colts Neck in 1986. Catherine was a member of the Navesink Country Club, Middletown, New Jersey and The Club at Admirals Cove, Jupiter, Florida. She worked at New Dorp High School, Staten Island from 1967-1984. In retirement, Catherine enjoyed playing tennis, piano, Mah-Jongg and spending time with her family and friends. Kitty will always be remembered for her great sense of humor and kind heart. Kitty was predeceased by her grandson, Jeffrey Pancetti in 2011; a brother, Michael Graziano; and two sisters, Rose Toto and Marie Cavallino. She is survived by her devoted husband of 63 years, John Pancetti; a son, John S. Pancetti and his wife, Nancy of Old Bridge; a daughter, Zelinda Daroci and her husband, Robert of Lincroft; five loving grandchildren, John and James Pancetti and Steven, Taylor and Caroline Daroci; and her loving caregiver, Tammy Kulmatycky. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, February 28, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 9:30 AM for the Procession to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 1 Phalanx Road, Colts Neck for her 10:30 AM Funeral Mass. Entombment to follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery and Chapel Mausoleum, Marlboro.
