Obituary of Adele Cichowski

Adele Cichowski, 75, of Somerset passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014 at St. Peter's Hospital, New Brunswick. Adele was born in Plainfield and had lived in Somerset for 53 years. Having worked for Franklin Township for over 30 years, she started as a secretary in the Parks and Recreation Department before transferring to the Tax Office. Adele is survived by her husband, Hilary Cichowski, Sr. of Somerset; four sons, Hilary "Larry" B. Cichowski, Jr., Joseph Cichowski, Francis Cichowski and Edward Cichowski, all of Somerset; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; and one sister, Patricia Lukasik of Whiting. Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 from 4:00 to 7:30 PM with her funeral service at 7:30 PM at the funeral home. Cremation with a burial of ashes will be held at a later date at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery, Freehold. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Adele may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
