Condolences
Plescia Family,
I can't believe it's already been a year since Gerry has passed away and I just want to say I'm so sorry for your loss. Gerry was the man and I can't help to think about how much I'm going to miss him when we start playing Kronum again in a couple weeks and he won't be there making amazing saves and scoring left and right on the other teams. He brought so much energy and enthusiasm and he had that wonderful smile that when you saw him smiling you couldn't help to smile with him even if you may have been mad at the time. I can only imagine how tough this last year has been without him and I can't stress enough from the bottom of my heart how much I am truly sorry for your loss. But he will always be with us out there on the field and in our hearts and everywhere we go and whenever I'm having a bad day or something gets me down I think of him and that smile and he picks me up and pushes me to move forward. Again, from the bottom of my heart I am truly sorry.

Gerry was pure sunshine to all who knew him. He was a wonderful friend and mentor to Michael. His big smile and zest for all that is good in life will always be remembered. God Bless the entire Plescia Family.

Gerry and Lorraine, My deepest condolences to you and your family. Your son will be dearly missed our hearts and many prayers go out to you all. God Bless your family during this difficult time.
Our deepest condolences to the Plescia family. Gerry was a pleasure to know and to coach. He was a great person, a loyal teammate, and an outstanding athlete. Gerry will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. Rest in Peace Gerry #12.
I've experienced this type of tragedy 2 years ago with my lovely daughter Ilonna, I truly know your grief.
I had such a good time on the cruise with Gerry. He was so smart , funny and enjoyed the good things in life. He will continue to live in our hearts forever.
Gerry was the man and he let his light shine while he was here with us that he unconsciously gave other people around him the will to do the same. His presence automatically liberated others and everyone around him was always smiling and loving life because of the amazing person that he was. He will be truly truly missed and this world is a darker place now without him in it. I'm so sorry for your loss and I can't even put into words how great of a person Gerry was. This is such a tragedy and I'm so sorry for your loss.
Sincerely,
James Oakes
We can’t begin to imagine what you are feeling, but let us share our heart-felt condolence. My family extends to you our deepest sympathies. Our hearts are with you
Lorraine, Gerry and Ashley, we were shocked and saddened to hear about Gerry. The Plescia family was our earliest and dearest friends in Salem … we always had the best of times with you, lots of laughs and fun fun times. Gerry was such a little spitfire, always zooming around the room with a cape flying behind him (the "cape," of course, was usually one of Ashley's Disney nightgowns, but that's okay). He had such a strong little personality and loads of energy, and from what we can tell, he channeled that energy into becoming a strong, kind and beautiful person with a warm and loving heart. We will always remember Gerry with a twinkle in his eye and a hop, skip and a jump in his step … there he goes, off and running!
Our hearts are breaking at this tremendous loss. Please know that we are holding you deep in our thoughts and prayers.
Love,
Nancy, John, Christine and Julie Giamattei xoxo

Words cannot express how sorry we were to hear of the loss of your son/brother. We remember seeing him through the years in the neighborhood. What a wonderful young man! Even though he may no longer be with you here on Earth, remember that he will always be with you in your hearts. You now have an angel looking out for you from heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family now and in the next few weeks and months. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you during this difficult time. Please accept my deepest sympathy on the sudden, much too soon death of your wonderful son and brother Gerry. I remember him vividly in my class way back when at Applegate. He was always SO happy and friendly and hard working. His smile would light up the room. And on the playground he always had the ball but would make sure it was passed to everyone. What a good kid. I liked reading about his sports success at Boro during his HS years. May your good happy memories bring you smiles. God Bless all of you...parents, sister and long time friends like family. I am so sorry for your devastating loss. Dee Andrejewski (Mrs.A)
