Obituary of Maria Fernandez

Maria Fernandez, 86, of Toms River passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at the Hampton Ridge Healthcare Nursing Home, Toms River. Maria was born in Habana, Cuba and had lived in Jersey City before moving to Toms River seven years ago. She was a clerk at Speedmark, Secaucus. Maria is survived by her husband, Vicente Fernandez of Toms River; a son, Jorge Fernandez of Jackson; four grandsons, George Fernandez of Jackson, Daniel Fernandez of Manalapan, Alexander Fernandez of Manalapan, Evan Fernandez of Jackson; and one great granddaughter, Ava Fernandez of Jackson. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Entombment to follow in Marlboro Memorial Park, Morganville.
