Obituary of Robert Rebele

Robert L. "Bob" Rebele, Jr., 58, of Freehold passed away on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Ocean Medical Center at Brick. Bob was born in Jersey City, was raised in New Providence and had lived in Brick and Lakewood before moving to Freehold in 2011. He worked in the Accounting and Payroll Department for Lucent Technologies in Parsippany before retiring. In retirement, Bob was an EMT for Alert Ambulance, Brick. He was a diehard Yankees fan and doo-wop aficionado. Bob always put others first and was an example of a selfless person but the love that he had for his family was immeasurable. Bob was predeceased by his father, Robert L. Rebele., Sr. He is survived by his daughter, Sharon Rebele and her fiancé, Christopher McKay of Freehold; his granddaughter, Riley; his mother, Dolores Rebele of Canton, GA; and two brothers, Joseph Rebele and his wife, Lois of Canton, GA and Richard Rebele and his wife, Maryann of Cranford. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Friday, April 25, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Saturday, April 26, 2014 at 9:15 AM for the procession to Our Lady of Peace, 111 South Street, New Providence for his 11:30 AM Funeral Mass.
