Obituary of Michael Sagan

MICHAEL "MICKEY" W. SAGAN, 65, of FARMINGDALE, died Saturday, May 3, at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Mickey was born in Neptune and lived in Wall before settling in Farmingdale in 1963. Mickey was a plant supervisor for DiSanti Concrete Products, Howell for over 30 years. He was predeceased by his father, Michael Sagan, in 1989. Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Margaret Sagan; four sons, Blain, Matthew, Mark, and Sean Sagan, all of Farmingdale; five daughters, Kelly White of Howell, Kris Cancellieri of Jackson, Colleen Sagan of Farmingdale, Shannon Sagan of Farmingdale, and Kate Gary of Jasper, Ga.; his mother, Peggy Potter of Jackson; a brother, Gary Sagan of Jackson; eight grandchildren; two stepbrothers; and two stepsisters. Visiting hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will private.
