Obituary of Helen Green

Helen Earlene "Bunny" Green, 88, of the Shark River Hills section of Neptune Twp. passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center. Earlene was born in Freehold Township, was raised in the Allenwood section of Wall Twp., and had lived in Shark River Hills since 1980. She was a graduate of Manasquan High School, Class of 1944. Earlene was a dietician at Jersey Shore Hospital retiring in 1985. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Lakewood. As a crafts lover, Earlene enjoyed crocheting and knitting. She participated at the Neptune Senior Center and was always known as a lover of animals. Earlene was predeceased by her husband, Joseph in 1985 and her mother, Helen Mae Decker in 1990. She is survived by numerous cousins and family friends. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, June 2, 2014 from 10:00 to 12:00 Noon with her funeral service to follow at 12:00 Noon. Interment will be in Glendola Cemetery, Wall.
