Obituary of Frederick Megill

Frederick A. Megill, Jr., 59, of Toms River passed away on Friday, June 20, 2014 at Hackensack University Medical Center, Hackensack. Fred was born in Neptune and had lived in Freehold and Howell Township before moving here in 2004. He was an active member of the Ocean County Coin Club in Point Pleasant. He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Chelsea Megill of Reading, PA; and his dear granddaughter, Maddison Megill. Fred is also survived by two brothers and two sister-in-laws, Robert and Kathy Megill of Howell and Charles and Norma Davison of Howell; and three sisters and one brother-in-law, Brenda Megill with who he lived in Toms River, Gloria Joan and Robert Brown of Bayville and Mary Jane Price of Ocala, Florida; two special friends, Joanna and Harry Applegate of Toms River; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, June 25, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with his funeral service to follow at 8:00 PM at the funeral home with Rev.
