Dear Joe,
I know you're in a better place, better than anyone of us can possible imagine. You're dancing with Jean and you're having a blast. There's no more sickness, no more disease, no more medication, and no more diabetes to have to deal with. You leave behind many people who loved you so very much, so many people who's lives you've touched in so many ways. I remember when I was younger, both You and Jean would sleep over at our house and all of the funny antics that went on. I remember those days like they were yesterday. I always used to tease you about your sideburns, mainly because I was jealous and wanted to grow them just like you! Ha ha ha. You used to show me how to cook and make so many delicious dishes. One of my favorite and simple things you'd make was your famous brown gravy! I loved it, and yet I still could never duplicate it, even after you showing me what you did and how you did it!
Thank you for everything you've done, for touching our lives in such a way that no one else could ever do, and for being "You". You were and still are an amazing person with a great personality. Your smile made people feel right at home. Well, now You're "Home". May You rest in peace for all eternity. I know one day, I'll be meeting up with you again, only this time we won't be able to get away from each other! Teasing...we will definitely miss You!
