Obituary of Dylan Joyce

Dylan P. Joyce, 21, of Howell passed away at home on Wednesday, July 2, 2014. He was born in Red Bank and lived in Middletown before settling in Howell in 1998. Dylan was a student at Aldrich Elementary School, Howell Middle School North and Howell High School. Dylan excelled in many sports such as soccer, lacrosse and wrestling. He worked in construction and loved fishing, snowboarding and surfing. Dylan was predeceased by his grandfathers, Jim Hilker and James Joyce. He is survived by his parents, Patricia Joyce of Howell and James Joyce of Brick; one sister, Katrina Joyce of Asbury Park; one brother, Brendan Joyce of Howell; his maternal grandmother, Anne Hilker of Freehold; his paternal grandmother, Susan Joyce of Boynton Beach, FL; his girlfriend, Paige Hohmann of Bridgewater; and fifteen cousins. Visitation will be held at Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Sunday, July 6, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Monday, July 7, 2014 at 8:45 AM for the procession to St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Asbury Avenue, Farmingdale for his 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.
