Obituary of Margaret Ferrier

Margaret Ferrier, 85, of the Riverdale section of the Bronx, NY passed away at home surrounded by her family on Tuesday, July 15, 2014. Margaret was born in the Bronx, NY and at the age of thirteen went to live with her Uncle, Major George Brown and Aunt Anna. She lived a life of a Air Force Brat living throughout the United States. Margaret returned to the Bronx to live the rest of her life. She was a teacher's aide at St. Margaret's School in Riverdale, NY for thirty years retiring in 2001 and was also parishioner of St. Margaret's Catholic Church. Margaret was predeceased by her husband, Thomas E. Ferrier in 2001 and a niece, Linda Ferline. She is survived by a son, Dennis Ferrier and his wife, Natalia of Wappinger Falls, NY; two daughters, Barbara Toscano-Conley and her husband, Richard Conley of Monroe Twp., NJ and Deborah Ferrier of Riverdale, NY; three grandchildren, Victoria Bills and her husband, Scott of Naples, FL, Anthony Toscano and his wife, Toni-Marie of Howell Twp., NJ and James Toscano and his wife, Monica of Nutley, NJ; a brother, Dr. John Piccarelli of Ridgewood, NJ; and a sister, Ruth Ferline of Forked River, NJ; a niece and three nephews; many great nieces and nephews; and her faithful canine companion, Lila. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at 8:30 AM until the procession to Our Lady of Mercy Church, 8 Pine Street, Englishtown for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.
