Obituary of Alice Anderson
Alice M. Anderson, 52, of Farmingdale passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 21, 2014. Alice was born in Lakewood and had lived in Toms River, Florida, Brick, Patterson, and Montclair until moving to Farmingdale in 2001. She was a private property manager in Asbury Park. Prior to that, Alice worked for the Archdiocese of Patterson's Straight and Narrow Program as a property manager. She had a passion for riding her Harley Davidson motorcycle and a devotion to her canine companions, but most of all, loved her partner Robin, and her family and friends.
Alice was predeceased by her father, Edward Anderson. She is survived by her partner, Robin Semel; her mother, Doris Britton; four brothers, Donald Britton, Sam Anderson, Eddie Anderson, and John Earl Anderson; a sister, Ida Britton; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township. A memorial gathering and service will be announced at a later date and time.
