Obituary of Agnes Verderosa

Agnes Verderosa, 92, of Howell Township passed away on Friday, July 25, 2014 at CentraState Medical Center, Freehold Township. Agnes was born and raised in Brooklyn and had lived in Staten Island before moving to Howell Township in 1993. She had passions for bingo and trips to Atlantic City but her true love was for her family. Agnes was predeceased by her husband, Emile; a grandson, Brian Corney; three sisters, Dorothea Krausen, Clara Alne, and Johanna Doyle; and a son-in-law, Robert Dougherty. She is survived by two daughters, Valerie Aperawic and her husband, Robert of Jackson and Mary Dougherty of Howell; a son, Vincent Verderosa and his wife, Davida of Manalapan; six grandchildren, Joseph Corney and his wife, Nancy of Brooklyn, Christopher Corney and his wife, Danielle of Old Bridge, Tara Trimarche and her husband, Vincent of Millstone, Robert Aperawic, Jr. and his wife, Karen of Parlin, Danielle MacKrell and her husband, Matthew of Mount Laurel, and Vincent Verderosa, Jr. of Manalapan; ten great grandchildren, Cristian Aperawic, Justin Aperawic, Brianna Aperawic, Nicholas Trimarche, Anthony Trimarche, Daniel Dougherty, Megan Dougherty, Corbin Page, Joshua MacKrell and Brooke Puza; a brother, George Cebulski of Manahawkin; Florence Cilento of Staten Island; a beloved niece, Cathy Muscatello and her family, Michael, Christine and Laura; many other loving nieces and nephews; and her dear friends and caregivers at Brandywine. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township, NJ on Monday, July 28, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at 9:00 AM for the procession to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold, for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Cemetery of the Resurrection, Staten Island.
