Obituary of Brigitte Onop

Brigitte Maria Onop, 67, of Freehold Township passed away at CentraState Medical Center on Friday, July 25, 2014. Brigitte was born in Landau, Germany, came to the U.S. in 1951 and was a longtime Freehold Township resident. She was a homemaker and then was a home health aide for the Monmouth County Family and Children Services, retiring in 2001. Brigitte had a passion for flowers and helping people but her true love was for her family. Brigitte was predeceased by her father, Peter Musijenko and her in-laws, Daniel and Olga Onop. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Alex; a son, Alex Onop and his girlfriend, Theresa Rogers of Freehold Township; a daughter, Adrienne Stuckey and her husband, Ben of Breckenridge, CO; two grand children, Cole and Alex; and her mother, Christa Musijenko. A Pannyhida will be held at St. Alexander Nevsky R.O. Cathedral, 200 Alexander Avenue, Howell Twp. on Sunday, July 27, 2014 at 7:30 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 9:30 AM funeral service on Monday, July 28, 2014 at the Cathedral. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Lakewood.
