Obituary of Musa Meosky
Musa June Meosky, 92, of Manchester passed away at home on Saturday, August 9, 2014. Musa was born and raised in Broad Top City, PA and had lived in Jersey City and Willingboro before settling to Manchester. As a homemaker, she was also known as an Avon Lady. Musa was a member of the Red Hat Society, an active member of the Deborah Hospital Auxiliary and a devout catholic.
Musa was predeceased by her granddaughter, Cheryl "Sherri" Amabile. She is survived by her husband, Peter Paul Meosky, Sr.; two sons, Edward Paul "Eddie" Meosky of Willingboro and Peter Paul Meosky, Jr. and his wife, MaryAnn of New Jersey; a daughter, Patricia Pitts of Freehold; five grandchildren, Donna L. Westerman, Stefanie L. Pitts, Walter L. Pitts, III, Peter Paul Meosky, III, and Melissa Slocum; six great grandchildren; a brother, Anan Smith; and a sister, Georgia Adams.
A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Wednesday, August 13, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends may gather at the funeral home on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at 9:00 AM for the Procession to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 16 McLean Street, Freehold for her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass.
