Obituary of Laura Visicaro

Laura S. Visicaro, 60, of Howell Township passed away on Friday, August 8, 2014 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Laura was born in Perth Amboy, raised in North Plainfield, and had lived in the Shark River Hills section of Neptune before settling to Howell in 1987. She was an executive administrator for Allstate Insurance in Brick. Laura was a parishioner of the Church of St. Veronica, Howell and a former CCD Teacher at the church. She was a creative quilter, an avid Bunco player and had a passion for making beaded jewelry, but most of all she loved her family. Laura is survived by her husband of forty-one years, John T. Visicaro; two daughters, Shelley Kowalczyk and her husband, Brian of White Marsh, Maryland and Lisa Thorne and her husband, Ian of Jackson; four grandchildren, Evelyn, Gabriel, Ryan, and Riley; a sister, Paula Piech and her husband, Peter of Allendale and their children, Lauren and Bryan. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Monday, August 11, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her 10:30 AM Funeral Service at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 12, 2014. Entombment will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery and Mausoleum, 1000 West Chicago Boulevard, Sea Girt.
