Dear McCutcheon family, I am so sorry to read of your loss. I don't know your family but would like to send my sympathies and condolences to all of you. I hope the words at 1 Thess. 4:13 and John 5:28,29 can comfort you at this time. Our loved ones we've lost are spoken of as resting in sleep until the time of a resurrection to life again. Jesus performed at least 3 resurrections while here on earth to foreshadow for us what He can and will do on a large scale later. He will do the same for us as He did for them.
