Obituary of Doris McCutcheon

Doris B. McCutcheon, 89, of Brick passed away at home surrounded by her family on Thursday, October 16, 2014. Doris was born and raised in Mt. Carmel, PA and had lived in Fair Haven and Ohio before moving to Brick in 2005. She was a registered nurse at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank retiring in 1978. Prior to that, Doris was registered nurse at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. Along with her husband, Robert, she loved to travel in her RV throughout America. Doris was predeceased by her husband, Robert H. McCutcheon , Sr. in 2011. She is survived by four children, Robert McCutcheon and his wife, Doris of Tyler, TX, Scott McCutcheon and his wife, Laura of Brick, K.D. Shaughnessy of Glendale, CA and Beth Karcz and her husband, Jan of Reston, VA; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and her caregiver, Barbare "Inga" Abashvili. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM with her funeral service to follow at the funeral home at 7:00 PM. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family in Brig. Gen. Wm. C. Doyle NJ Veterans Cemetery, Arneytown.
