Condolences
In 1976 I met Laura.. We became colleagues, coaches and, most important, best friends. Laura introduced me to her family and I felt loved and embraced immediately by Mom and Dad Chelli. We were inseparable and lived at each other's houses. My parents loved Laura, and I know Mr. And Mrs. Chelli loved me. Lucy even tried to teach me how to cook! Whenever I was in their home, I felt like I was home. Mr. Chelli always smiling at me, Mrs. Chelli always a hug. I have the most wonderful memories of those years, as they were so special. Mary Ellen, Elaine, and Al quickly became my friends and the rest, as they say, is history. Even if I hadn't seen them in years, when we did see each other it was like no time had passed, and I still felt their warmth and they always made me feel special. Your parents were wonderful people, a big part of my life for a long time, and will be forever in my heart. Love, Kathy

Dearest Laura and Family, we are so, so, sorry for your loss...We tend to think of our parents as being infallible and feel they will be around forever...But the best testament I can bestow upon your Mom, is that she raised a beautiful, loving, generous daughter and for this, she will continue to live on forever in the hearts of her friends and family...We will keep Lucy and all of you close in our prayers...I know she went from your arms to Alfred's, so feel secure in your heart that Lucy is in the best of hands...
