Obituary of Lucy Chelli
Lucy Chelli, 85, of Freehold passed away at CentraState Medical Center on Thursday, October 30, 2014 surrounded by her loved ones. Lucy was born in Pittston, PA and lived in East Brunswick for 30 years before moving to Freehold. She was a parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine and a member of the Social Club of Surrey Downs.
Lucy was predeceased by her husband, Alfred J. Chelli in 2007. She is survived by one son, Alfred Chelli and his wife, Lois of Jackson; three daughters, Mary Ellen Speciale and her husband, Philip of East Brunswick, Laura Saker and her husband, Richard of Middletown, and Elaine Zullo and her husband, Don Molloy of East Winsdor; seven grandchildren, Christel, Christopher, Joseph, Elaina, Christina, Gina and Vincent; and three brothers, Charles Dominick of Piscataway, Leonard Dominick of Mt. Pocono and Paul Dominick of Dunellen.
Visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, November 4, 2014 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at 9:00 AM for the procession to her 10:00 AM Funeral Mass at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 61 Georgia Road, Freehold Township. Interment will follow at Brigadier General William C. Doyle NJ Veteran's Cemetery, Arneytown.
